MERIL Merizelle Fibre is a sterile, absorbable hemostat composed of oxidized regenerated cellulose, white with a pale yellow tinge. Designed to assist in the control of capillary, venous, and small arterial hemorrhage, especially where conventional techniques are ineffective. Knitted fabric meeting United States Pharmacopeia (U.S.P.) standards for oxidized regenerated cellulose hemostats. Each box contains 12 individually packed sterile units. Absorbable within 1-2 weeks if left in place; may also be removed at surgeon's discretion prior to surgical closure. Slight discoloration may occur with age, but this does not affect product performance.
