Features Nonabsorbable polypropylene mesh. Soft, elastic, and pliable structure. 60% lighter than conventional polypropylene mesh. Unique interlocking knitting for superior tissue integration. High burst strength, excellent durability. Round, laser-cut mesh edges for reduced tissue trauma. Consistent extensibility across both X and Y axes. Available in a range of sizes for various hernia repairs. MERIZELLE™ Absorbable Hemostat is a sterile, absorbable knitted fabric produced by controlled oxidation of regenerated cellulose. Contains 95–100% oxygenated regenerated cellulose and water (0–5%). White to pale yellow in color with a faint caramel-like aroma; slight discoloration may occur with age, but this does not affect performance. Available as a fine-weaved structured material (Standard variant) approved for use in nephrological, neurological, and general surgical procedures. Completely absorbable; integrates into tissue and/or absorbed within 1–2 weeks if left in place. Meets United States Pharmacopeia (U.S.P.) standards for oxidized regenerated cellulose.
