Meril Filamide is a non-absorbable, synthetic monofilament ophthalmic suture composed of polyamide 6 and polyamide 6.6 (dyed black) for increased visibility during surgery.
These sutures are sterile, designed for single use, and provide versatility in application with exceptional knot security and smooth passage through tissue.
They are primarily indicated for approximation and/or ligation of skin tissue, general soft tissue, vascular tissue, and ophthalmic (eye) tissue.
