The suture is composed of Polyglecaprone 25, a synthetic monofilament that is available both dyed and undyed for versatile surgical use.
Provides 60–80% knot tensile strength for up to 7 days and is completely absorbed within 90 to 120 days, reducing the need for suture removal.
The product is supplied as a sterile, ready-to-use 12's pack and includes 60 mm straight or round body needles, suture length of 70 cm, and is USP 3-0 in diameter.
Packaged in boxes containing individually sealed sterile sutures for optimal safety and handling.
Subcuticular and general soft tissue approximation or ligation in plastic and cosmetic, general, gynecological, and pediatric surgery where short-term wound support is desired.
