Meril Filapron Synthetic Absorbable Monofilament Surgical Suture (Poliglecaprone 25) is a short-term synthetic absorbable suture composed of poly(glycolide-co-caprolactone) (PGCL).
It is available in both dyed and undyed forms.
The suture is designed for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation where short-term wound support is needed.
Complete absorption generally occurs between 90 and 120 days by hydrolysis.
Known for excellent handling, high knot pull tensile strength, and superior handling features.
Sterilized by ethylene oxide and available in multiple sizes (USP 6/0 to USP 1).
