Designed as a monofilament, straw-colored suture for general soft tissue approximation and ligation in surgical procedures.
Absorbed by enzymatic digestion, typically within 60–90 days after implantation.
Especially suitable for tissues that heal quickly and do not require prolonged support.
Available in multiple sizes (e.g., USP 4-0, 76 cm length) and various needle types (e.g., 16 mm, 3/8 circle cutting).
Not suitable for cardiovascular or neurological surgery, or where extended tensile strength is needed.
Used for general soft tissue approximation and ligation in procedures where fast healing is expected. Not for cardiovascular, neurological or extended-support tissue repair.
