DEPRANEX 5 MG Tablet is an antidepressant used to treat depression, anxiety disorders (including panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia), and may also help in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
It acts by regulating serotonin (a neurotransmitter) levels in the brain, improving mood and reducing anxiety.
This medication belongs to the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) class.
Should be taken daily as prescribed, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
Dosage and duration are set individually by the doctor. It may take 4-6 weeks for full effect.
