LUPISIT 50MG Tablet is indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, especially when diet, exercise, and single medicinal therapy are inadequate.[1][2][3]
It contains Sitagliptin, belonging to the class of DPP-4 inhibitors, which work by increasing insulin secretion and decreasing glucagon levels after meals, thereby improving blood sugar control.[1][2][3]
This medicine can be used alone or in combination with other anti-diabetic medicines, as recommended by a healthcare professional.[1][3]
Helps prevent diabetes complications such as kidney damage, blindness, nerve issues, and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.[2][3]
Not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years.[1]
