SALBAIR - B TRANSCAPS is a prescription medication formulated for the management and prevention of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
It combines two active molecules: Beclometasone (a corticosteroid) that reduces airway inflammation and Salbutamol (a bronchodilator) that relaxes airway muscles and widens the bronchi, aiding easier breathing.
This medicine is intended for routine, long-term maintenance therapy, relieving symptoms like shortness of breath, wheezing, cough, and chest tightness.
Not suitable for the immediate relief of acute asthma episodes (not a rescue inhaler).
Can be used in adults and in children above 5 years of age, as prescribed.
