- THYROUP 75 Tablet contains synthetic thyroxine, a hormone replacement for thyroid hormone deficiency (hypothyroidism).
- It is used primarily to manage and treat hypothyroidism, which manifests as tiredness, weight gain, and depression due to low thyroid hormone levels.
- THYROUP 75 Tablet is taken orally, preferably on an empty stomach, and regular blood tests are required to monitor therapy and adjust dosage.
- Discontinuing the drug usually leads to the return of hypothyroid symptoms.
- Thyroup 75 should not be used in uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, or in patients with untreated adrenal or pituitary insufficiency.
