Tiaprex 25MG Tablet contains Tiapride and is classified as an atypical antipsychotic.
This medication is primarily used to manage behavioral disorders, such as agitation, aggression in elderly patients, involuntary and abnormal movements (dyskinesia), and symptoms of schizophrenia.
It works by selectively blocking Dopamine D2 and D3 receptors in the brain, reducing excessive dopamine activity, and thus helping to improve psychiatric and neurological symptoms.
Tiaprex 25 is also indicated in the management of alcohol withdrawal symptoms and in behavioral disturbances associated with cerebral infarction.
