BISONEXT T 2.5 Tablet is a prescription combination medication used for effective management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and related cardiovascular conditions.
It contains Bisoprolol (a beta blocker) and Telmisartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker).
Bisoprolol works by blocking beta-1 receptors in the heart to reduce heart rate and blood pressure.
Telmisartan helps relax blood vessels by inhibiting substances that tighten them, thereby lowering overall blood pressure and cardiac risk.
Commonly prescribed for adults with essential hypertension and to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other complications due to high blood pressure, especially when other medicines are unsuitable.
