Fondaflo 2.5MG/0.5ML Injection is an anticoagulant medicine used to prevent and treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) in adults.
Also reduces the risk of blood clots in patients undergoing orthopedic (hip or knee) or abdominal surgery or with decreased mobility due to acute illness.
Contains Fondaparinux sodium as the active ingredient, which works by inhibiting clotting factor Xa and thus reduces fibrin production, preventing clot formation.
Administered only under healthcare supervision; not for self-injection.
May increase bleeding risk; prompt medical attention is needed if unusual bleeding or symptoms appear.
Patients must share their medical history (especially bleeding disorders, kidney/liver issues) with the doctor.
