It combines two antidiabetic agents: glimepiride and metformin.
Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin and enhances the body's use of insulin.
Metformin reduces sugar release from the liver and decreases intestinal sugar absorption.

Not suitable for children or adolescents below 18 years.
