LCD 125 TABLETS is a combination medication containing levodopa (100 mg) and carbidopa (25 mg) used primarily to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
Levodopa is converted in the brain to dopamine, a chemical needed for normal motor function.
Carbidopa enhances levodopa's effect by preventing its breakdown before it reaches the brain.
This medicine helps improve symptoms such as tremor, stiffness, slowness of movement, difficulty with balance and walking.
Prescription is required. Not recommended for children below 18, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Take the tablets exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop or alter your dose without consulting your physician.
