Lupinem 500mg Injection is a combination of imipenem and cilastatin, classified as carbapenem antibiotics.
Indicated for the treatment of severe bacterial infections affecting the lungs, heart, bladder, skin, kidneys, bones, joints, blood, stomach, and female reproductive organs.
Recommended for complicated infections including abdominal, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and lung infections (pneumonia), as well as infections arising during or after delivery.
May be used for patients with low white blood cell count and suspected bacterial fever, or for serious blood (septicemia) and heart (endocarditis) infections.
Not recommended for use in children under 1 year or with kidney problems, and in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless advised by a doctor.
