Meril Mitsu C+ is a synthetic, absorbable, braided surgical suture made of poly(glycolide-co-l-lactide) 90/10 (Polyglactin 910) and coated with chlorhexidine , an antibacterial agent.Minimizes the risk of suture-induced surgical site infection. Degrades by hydrolysis, providing predictable and reliable absorption. Retains 75% knot tensile strength for up to 14 days and 50% for up to 21 days. Complete mass absorption occurs between 56 and 70 days. Used for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation in various types of surgery.
