Composed of a copolymer of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide, these sutures are available only in undyed versions for predictable and reliable absorption.
They are indicated exclusively for superficial soft tissue approximation of skin and mucosa, providing effective wound support for 7-10 days.
Widely used in plastic surgery, skin closure, and episiotomy, these sutures degrade by hydrolysis and are absorbed within 42 days.
The product meets the regulatory requirements for absorbable surgical sutures as defined by the USP and EP.
