Nebistar 5MG Tablet is a prescription medication belonging to the group of medicines known as beta-blockers.
It is primarily used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and may be prescribed for the management of mild to moderate heart failure (especially in patients aged 70 years and above) as well as for the prevention of heart attacks and strokes.
Each tablet contains Nebivolol as its active salt composition, which works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, thereby making it easier for the heart to pump blood.
This medicine may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents, depending on the patient's condition.
