Pyridium 200MG Tablet is a pain reliever used to provide symptomatic relief of pain, burning, and discomfort caused by urinary tract irritation from infection, trauma, or surgery.
It is generally used as adjunct therapy for urinary tract infections or other urinary procedures, but not as a substitute for antibiotic therapy or other definitive treatment.
Pyridium contains phenazopyridine hydrochloride as its active ingredient and is typically prescribed for short-term use (not exceeding 2 days when used in combination with an antibacterial).
The tablet is best taken after meals to minimize gastric irritation.
