It contains Pyrazinamide, a bactericidal antibiotic, that acts by inhibiting fatty acid synthesis in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, thereby killing the bacteria and stopping the disease progression.
Pyzina 1000 Tablet is usually prescribed as part of a combination therapy with other anti-tubercular agents.
This medication is for oral use and should be taken as directed by your physician for optimal results.
It does not work against viral infections (like the common cold or flu).
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, loss of appetite, muscle/joint pain, and fatigue.
