Rabium-10 Tablet is a prescription medication classified as a proton pump inhibitor (PPI).
It contains Rabeprazole 10 mg as its active ingredient.
Indicated for treating conditions related to excessive stomach acid production: peptic and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and as an adjunct in H. pylori eradication therapy.
Functions by blocking the gastric proton pump enzyme H+ K+ ATPase, thereby reducing stomach acid secretion and aiding in ulcer healing.
Administered orally, ideally one hour before a meal, usually in the morning, with dosage and duration as prescribed by the physician.
Not recommended for use in children, pregnant, or breastfeeding women without medical advice.
