Tamlocept-D Capsule is a combination of two active ingredients: Dutasteride (0.5 mg) and Tamsulosin (0.4 mg).
Used primarily in men to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland.
Improves urinary symptoms such as difficulty in urination, frequent urination, increased nighttime urination, and incomplete bladder emptying.
Dutasteride reduces the size of the enlarged prostate by inhibiting the formation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
Tamsulosin relaxes muscles in the bladder and prostate, facilitating easier urine flow.
This medicine is not intended for the treatment of prostate cancer and should not be handled by women or children, especially if the capsule is leaking.
