VERIFICA 50MG TAB is an oral anti-diabetic medication indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults.
It contains vildagliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, which helps improve glycemic control by increasing incretin hormone levels, thereby stimulating insulin secretion and reducing blood sugar.
Recommended as an adjunct to diet and exercise when these measures alone are insufficient to control blood glucose levels.
The tablet should be swallowed whole and not chewed or crushed, best taken as prescribed by a physician.
Periodic monitoring of blood glucose, along with lifestyle modifications (low-carb diet, exercise, weight management), is advised.
