Meril Mitsu Coated Polyglactin 910 Sutures are synthetic, absorbable, braided surgical sutures commonly used for internal tissue approximation after plastic and general surgery.
Composed of polyglactin 910 (copolymer of 90% glycolide and 10% lactide), coated for smoother tissue passage and minimal tissue reaction.
Absorption occurs predictably via hydrolysis, ensuring reliable wound support that gradually decreases as healing progresses.
Available needle and suture sizes: needle lengths range commonly from 11mm to 45mm, suture length standard at 70 cm. Example: USP 1, 3/8 circle round body, or 3/8 circle cutting needle.
Steri-packed in a box for easy handling and infection prevention.
Used to approximate soft tissues and for ligation in plastic surgery, dental, and other general surgical procedures where absorbable suture support is required.
