Nebistar 10 Tablet is a prescription beta-blocker medicine containing nebivolol 10mg, used mainly for treating high blood pressure (hypertension).
It works by blocking the action of certain natural substances responsible for narrowing blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and easing heart function.
This medication can also help reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and related complications when used long-term and in conjunction with lifestyle modifications (such as a low-fat, low-salt diet, regular exercise, and smoking cessation).
Patients should continue with Nebistar 10 as prescribed, even if symptoms improve, as hypertension often has no symptoms, but discontinuing suddenly can worsen the diagnosis.
It is typically taken once daily, with or without food, and swallowing whole.
